New Travel Website Makes It Easy To Plan The Perfect Weekend Getaway In A Matter Of Minutes.
September 1, 2005: A new, easy to navigate travel website gives weekend travelers a single online source for totally unbiased travel information for destinations along the East Coast. The site is called Jim Flynn's Best Weekends and can be found at www.bestweekends.com where you're guaranteed objective reviews and recommendations for the best places to stay, eat and visit during a weekend trip.
According to Jim Flynn, the founder of BestWeekends LLC, the Company was created to save the traveler time by researching all the information about a destination and spending considerable time there —staying at the hotels and inns, eating in the restaurants, taking the tours and talking to the locals.
Jim Flynn and others travel anonymously and accept no advertising, free meals or rooms. The result is objective recommendations that focus on only the best accommodations, restaurants and activities in each location.
"With all the travel information online, it can take days for the average person to research a weekend trip. Our concept is to do the legwork for you, so that you don't waste your time and money with "trail and error travel", says Flynn. "We've discovered a lot of busy people are willing to pay for such convenience, plus the confidence of knowing that featured hotels and restaurants haven't "paid" to be recommended -- as is the case with many free travel websites."
Visitors to BestWeekends.com will have access to a free mini-profile of each travel destination. For 30-day access to the complete, comprehensive Destination Profile, visitors will pay a $9.99 subscription fee and discover:

"A weekend is three days at the most," continues Flynn, "You don't need a list of 50 restaurants,7 golf courses and 10 museums. Really what people want to know when planning a special trip are the best choices for a hotel, the restaurants where they're sure to have a great meal, and what kinds of activities they should be sure to do. We give you all that, plus many, many photos — because a picture really is worth a thousand words."
Currently the site, offers 13 East Coast Destinations including, Stowe, Boston, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, The Hamptons, New York City, the Jersey Shore, New Hope, Pa/Lambertville, NJ, Washington, DC, Charleston Savannah and Key West. The Company expects to have 50 destinations across the country by the end of 2006.
About Jim Flynn
For the first 20 years of Jim's business career, he was a senior executive for two prominent consumer products companies and has lived in Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Part of his responsibilities over the years was to plan, organize and run management meetings and sales incentive trips where he developed an appreciation for high quality destinations, accommodations and dining. In the early 90's, Mr. Flynn began his entrepreneurial career when he identified a niche in the clothing industry and started and managed a company to sell and market custom clothing to executives in their offices and homes. That company continues its operations today. Mr. Flynn's business and personal travel has taken him to virtually every state in the U.S., throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and parts of South America. This level of travel gives him a unique perspective upon which to draw for BestWeekends. In 2003, Mr. Flynn identified another niche, this time in the travel industry. He believed the weekend traveler was being underserved by existing information and began the travel odyssey that would lead to the creation of BestWeekends. Jim Flynn was raised in New Jersey and went to college in West Virginia where he received a B.A. from Bethany College.
