The Vanderbilt

OVERVIEW of The Vanderbilt

In a town with great accommodations, the relatively new The Vanderbilt takes its place among the best. Originally built in 1909 by Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, the former Vanderbilt Hall was purchased by the Grace Hotel Group in recent years and painstakingly restored to its present glory.  Great care was taken to maintain elements of its original design yet with all modern conveniences. It has since been acquired by the Auberge Group.

Located just steps from the center of town, the property is nonetheless, a welcome oasis from the crowds. From its stylish public rooms to the serene brick walled garden to the rooftop bar, this is a place you’ll find hard to leave.
